Wii Brawl

I'm dreaming of Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

Every Smash Brothers fan knows that Nintendo has put up a website for the new Smash Bros, right here.

But what are all the cool new features?

First off, Co-op play!
  • "In co-op mode, when either player 1 or player 2 loses a life, that player will be revived as another team member until your stock count runs out."

Secondly, the Online Wi-Fi function.
  • "There are two primary connection methods. The names of these methods are "With Friends" and "With Anyone." The menus and structures of each method are pretty different."

Thirdly, the Stage Builder.
  • "And I’m happy that this is compatible with SD cards. You don’t have to worry about size, so make as many stages as you like. Also, if you’ve finished registering someone as both a Wii Friend and a Smash friend, you’ll be able to send custom stages to each other."

Fourthly, the Assist Trophies.
  • "Well, these are characters who appear to aid the fighter that called them forth. Basically, they’re guest characters separate from Smash’s playable roster!"

Fifthly, the Four Kinds of Controltypes.
  • "There’s no need to be confused about what does what—just choose the play style you prefer!
I suppose I would recommend the Nintendo GameCube controller, though. I like the feel of that powerful rumble.
Still, try out the other controls—they definitely give you a fresh experience.
Hmm? How do you do smashes and dashes with just the Wii Remote?
If I get the chance to tell you, I will."

Sixthly, lots of New Characters.
  • "When Samus destroys her Power Suit, she’s left with the Zero Suit. What she’s lost in power and weaponry, she makes up for in speed! Once she turns that Paralyzer in her hand into a whip, she has quite a long reach as well! Not exactly the straightforward fight you thought it was, huh?"

"As many of you may have already heard, we have had to delay the launch of Super Smash Bros. Brawl by just a little bit—it will now be launching on February 10th in the Americas. I know that many of you will be disappointed by this news, but please understand that the extra development time will enable us to make the game the best it can be. It is my earnest hope that you will all be enjoying this game for many years, and we are all working very hard toward that goal."
